New York State is served by two regions, the Boston Region covers upstate and western New York, while the New York Region covers NYC.

Boston Region

Comprising Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, upstate and Western New York and Puerto Rico.

Regional Census Offices act as hubs for Census activities in regions comprising several states or a large city. Your Regional Census Office can help you by putting you in touch with Partnership Specialists who work with particular constituency groups like youth, the elderly, ethnic and language groups like Haitian, Somali, etc. and can also help you to get Census materials.
